Postscript + Telltale

Postscript handles the SMS side. Telltale decides which customers are worth a text, writes it, and respects every consent and timing rule on the way out.

What Telltale reads

  • SMS subscriber status and consent
  • Message delivery and replies
  • Opt-outs, honoured before every send

What it changes

SMS is the channel where getting timing wrong is most expensive — in goodwill as much as money. Telltale only routes a customer to SMS when their own engagement history says they respond there, and only inside their local 8am–8pm window, calculated in the recipient's timezone rather than yours.

What Telltale sends back

Approved campaigns push as a Postscript list with the message written and Postscript's merge tags in place.

Campaigns it powers

The urgent, short ones: Payment Rescue, Time to Reorder, Win-Back and Last-Chance Reactivation.

Setting it up

Connect Postscript from the integrations page. Only one SMS sender stays active at a time, so a customer cannot receive the same campaign twice across two providers.
