BigCommerce + Telltale
Connect your BigCommerce store and Telltale reads your order history the same way it does on Shopify — every order, every refund, every late delivery — then finds the customers quietly on their way out and writes the campaigns to bring them back.
What Telltale reads
- Every order, including guest checkouts, with line items, discounts and coupon codes
- The full order lifecycle — cancellations, refunds, fulfilment, delivery and carrier tracking
- Your product catalogue
- Your coupon catalogue, so offers come from codes you already run
- Product reviews, matched to the customer who left them
What it changes
Order history alone is enough for Telltale's AI analytics to learn how your customers buy — how often, in what order, and what a normal gap looks like for each person rather than one blanket rule for your whole list. That is what lets it flag someone as slipping while there is still time to act.
The lifecycle detail matters more than most brands expect. A late delivery, a refund or a two-star review is a reason a customer leaves, and it is invisible if you only look at whether an order happened.
One honest note: BigCommerce does not carry marketing consent, so email and SMS permission come from the email or SMS platform you connect alongside it. Telltale never sends to anyone who hasn't opted in there.
Campaigns it powers
All thirteen, but especially Time to Reorder, Win-Back, Early Lapse Reminder and Cross-Sell — each timed to the individual customer's own rhythm, with offers drawn from your own coupon library.
Setting it up
In the BigCommerce control panel, create a read-only API account (Settings → API accounts) and paste the Store Hash and Access Token into Telltale's integrations page. Telltale registers the order webhooks it needs on its own, syncs your history and returns your first report. Read-only — nothing is written back to your store.
